Post 15: Alfred Hitchcock loves bikinis

The idea of this effect is that the audience's view of the person in the surrounding shots changes according to the shot in between. So even though the character is technically not doing anything different, they are a different character completely.

Storyboard:

We recreated this by having a man with a neutral expression, and then having him laugh to himself in the ending shot. The initial shot in between is a shot of a woman playfully tripping her friend over, the second is of one of the women tripping the other over, but instead of laughing she falls and cries. This is to persuade the audience that the nature of the character is different.

Cast:

Oscar Stevens as the man in the surrounding shots.

Poppy Collins and Cerys Hughs to be the characters in the shots in between.
